How can you look into those Derpy button eyes and not want to take her home? She is sturdy and well stitched, but as with all handmade items, gentleness is encouraged. If she gets a little dingy after delivering your mail or hunting muffins, just spot clean her and let her set to dry. And if she looses her shape, just fluff her back up and she's ready to go again!
